If you would like to learn about woad, japanese indigo, weld, madder and coreopsis then read the details under the ‘Courses’ page: https://dyelabmalmo.com/courses/
The project is supported by The National Swedish Handicraft Council (Nämnden för Hemslöjdsfrågor).
In June 2023 I had the opportunity to study at a dye house in Györ, Hungary.
This picture shows the end product of this study. During my stay I could follow and take part in the whole process of blue printing.
My pattern is inspired by japanese block prints and the beautiful pine trees in Sweden.
You can find more on my trip to Hungary here:

This year’s SSDD theme is ‘Dissonance’ and I will be opening up my atelier.
My contribution is about pigments that I extract from the plants that I grew. Indigo is again in focus, but there will be other colours too.
Welcome!
The program is already available on SSDD’s website, check out the program and opening hours here: https://southernswedendesigndays.com/sv/event/met-amorph-pigment
